Production Strategies

I will try to concentrate in the idea of reflection and light and how it reacts or bounces off water or any other shiny surface.

I will record sounds that have more of an ambience sound or background quality to them, and also record every day sounds but try to manipulate them where they become something else.

Ten Questions to ponder With……..Hmmmmm

1. What kind of lines can we make with buildings and objects?
2. Is nature better then city?
3. What kind of reflections can we get from the water and sun?
4. Is there an interesting way to record lake Michigan?
5. The night v.s the Day
6. Is it better to take risks and go off from planned route?
7. How to find something out of where everything sounds the same?
8. Is recording people interesting enough?
9. Is it better to stay off the main avenues?
10. What kind of angles to capture buildings are best?

Trek Assessment #4

I’m not trying to get out of answering this question by going the easy route, but the whole experiences of going out on these treks were the best part. The actual physical part of getting ready, going on foot, traveling were your ear and eye might lead you, being out there and experiencing the world in a different way. It definitely made me a better listener. But we want specifics…..My favorite feeling was discovering a shot for trek 2 were it flashed in my head first and I recreated it with the camera and it turned out just how I envision it, to my eyes it was perfect, it was something were I was like that’s it, there is no more I can do with that. It was my silent clip #1 in trek 2.
